Jodi Skeris in Killian's Workshop06/21/2011 Jodi Skeris took commercial classes back in NY with House Casting Directors Brooke and Mary. Now in Los Angeles, she's currently in the commercial class Killian's Workshop, honing her commercial audition skills. Jodi Skeris wrote a web series - Flash Fu04/26/2011 Since moving to LA Jodi has already worked on several projects including indie shorts, original musicals, plays, and a web series. Jodi has years of writing experience stemming from a professional background in advertising and has also written several sketches and one-person shows through the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NY. Recently, her focus has been on her web series Flash Fu. Below is a Q&A with Jodi about her recent project: First off, what is your web series about? Flash Fu is a live action-comedy that takes place in the computer world where 3 heroes fight off computer crimes using kung fu! Are you in the series? Yes, I’m one of the heroes: Perl. Wait, you know martial arts? Yes. I’m trained in tae kwon do and northern shoalin kung fu. What belt are you? I only did tae kwon do for a short period and the school where I learned kung fu, Zhong Yi Kung Fu, is a traditional school. The belt system is an American adopted system so that we can be more competitive. I was taught 6 hand sets and 3 weapon sets. Ok, back to Flash Fu. Can you give us the scoop? Well, we (me, my director and my exec producer) are keeping it hush-hush for now, but we’re all really excited about the project. We’ve already shot some of the pilot and some promotional materials. We’re also working with Dax of Thousand Pounds Fight Team on the stunt choreography. He really rocks! Alright Miss Secret-Pants. Will you keep us posted of the Flash Fu haps? Absolutely. We’ll be posting our teaser sometime in May with more details on the series. You can also find information on the Flash Fu website: http://www.flashfuseries.com/index.html In the meantime, check out this awesome video by Thousand Pounds Fight Team: Jodi Skeris in "Judgment at Nuremberg"03/12/2011 Jodi Skeris is excited to be working with Diane Namm again in a West of Broadway production of Judgment at Nuremberg.
