I bought Teen Beat just like everyone else in grade school, amIright? I really wasn’t into the New Kids and I didn’t get the Corys. I did think Johnny Depp was a hottie and I wanted to be Alyssa Milano. Every girl in my school wanted to be Alyssa Milano and every boy wanted to date her. She was the coolest of the cool. She was edgy and was the kid of a single parent, just like me! At least, on the show she was. I knew that if she went to my school, she’d totally beat up the kids that bullied me and we would go get sloppy joe’s and own our own table at lunch. We’d be best buds.
What’s crazy is today, I can friggen read what she writes. I think it’s super bizzaro-pants that I can read what celebs are twittering. I get it. They’re real people too, but they’re in an ultra wonderland where they can eat sushi, lobster, and steak everyday and borrow high end fashion. They pop up on my twitter feed and sometimes link pretty good articles. What the eff? The fact that I can be this close to celebs freaks me out a little bit. I worry for their safety. Shouldn’t Snoop be more careful about where he’s gonna be pumpin? Paula, we know you gotta be swiping those inspirational sayings. You know that, right? Ashton, you twitpic stuff now! What about the stalkers?!
I’m not famous….yet. I’m not sure I’d ever want to be famous, but if I become famous, I’ll probably twitter as much as I do now. And I would do it just to freak you all out!
Alyssa, BFF? Right?
